COMPLETE: Thrill Nation's 2019 Halloween

Updated: Aug 10, 2019

Halloween is almost upon us with around 100 days to go until the terrifying night itself however, the build up in the UK & abroad starts much before this. From the end of September all the way through till early November, theme parks, scream parks and scare events are open all throughout Europe.

In 2018, we covered 8 UK reviews of some of the best scare attractions and parks around along with our first European scare event, Traumatica at Europa Park! Alongside this, we also covered loads more through our social media events from some of our favourite places more than once such as Thorpe Park, Tulleys Shocktober Fest & Fear at Avon Valley.

2019 we are aiming to experience all of our favourite events once more along with some new UK events and a handful more European events. Have a look at where you should expect coverage this Halloween from us...

Thorpe Park Fright Nights - Always a firm favourite and with the Island becoming the home of FEAR in 2019, we are looking forward to any new changes & twists to end the season at Thorpe Park Resort.

Tulleys Shocktober Fest - Since we have first visited Tulleys, they have always performed some of the best scare attractions and scares around. This accompanied by a whole park full of entertainment from roaming actors, rides, bars and much more, this becomes one of the best Halloween events in the UK.

The Howl - The Howl is a scream park based in Leighton Buzzard and is a smaller version of Tulleys Shocktober Fest. Hosting 5 scare mazes and the family of hillbillies, we cannot wait to meet Grandma one more time as she introduces us to the family this October.

Paultons Happy Halloween - Our first visit to this event was in 2018 and as much as this isn't a scary place, they show a more fun and different side of Halloween whilst including some great ghost fighting shows along with 1 fun scare maze, The Big Boo Barn.

Burton Screamfest - Our favourite maze for 2 years running is hosted within this park and with Insomnia being new for 2018, we are also being treated for a new maze in 2019 too.

Farmageddon - Whilst this event has been around for some time, we have only heard good things from this terrifying place which had 4 top class mazes in 2018, we can't wait to see what happens in 2019.

Xtreme Scream Park - Hosted within Twinlakes theme park, at night this place becomes haunted and the only place which hosts a maze we nearly had to walk out of last year due to genuine fear.

Fear Island III - After visiting Fear Island II last year, we cannot wait to see the event on an even bigger scale as they have expanded and released new mazes and shows to make the event a must do this year.

Alton Towers Scarefest - Along with all of our theme park coverage, we are looking forward to experience some frights within the towers grounds this October along with the new Alton Towers Dungeon.

Fear at Avon Valley - Ran by Frank and his circus freaks, we are looking forward to a new scare attraction this year which will see the event grow from 4 solid scare mazes to 5.

Halloween Unfairgrounded - On the Weston Pier, an eerie vibe on the seafront which also gives some new experiences for the 2019 season.

Frightmare - Growing to 6 mazes for 2019, we meet the carnival as it comes to Frightmare to parade and theme this year along with all the firm favourites.

Liseberg Halloween - A highly rated Halloween event well known for it's atmosphere and terrifying mazes.

Walibi Holland Fright Nights - With this event growing heavily over recent years, we are hoping to experience some terrifying mazes as one of the few abroad Halloween events we will cover this year.

Toverland - Whilst the park is friendly by day, the park is struct by darkness and evil magic by night as we experience Halloween Nights this October.

Movie Park Germany - Europe's biggest Halloween event with 250,000 people expecting to visit for themed rides such as terror tower, shows, mazes and scare zones.

Expect a review from all of the above over on this website during October along with media coverage on the events over on Facebook, Twitter & Instagram.
