Alton Towers plans for "Tree house" accommodation

Alton Towers have submitted plans for a "Tree House" accommodation within a new enchanted village at the theme park.

Staffordshire Moorlands Council has received the application, which outlines plans for 10 tree house-type structures and a further 61 lodges. The plans continue to show how the Merlin Entertainments run theme park's long term plan to encourage more guests to stay overnight in it's theme parks. Each tree house will sleep up to eight people and will be equipped with hot tubs on an outdoor terrace, according to a Derby Telegraph newspaper reports.
