Alton Towers have announced that the Blade will not be returning to the parks ride line up in 2015.
The Blade has not been included in this year's park map and it has also been taken off of the ERT (Early Ride Time) lineup, this fueled speculation that the ride wouldn't be returning. Alton Towers then confirmed on Twitter when asked the question that the ride would not be available this year.
It is believed that the ride will be making way for a new attraction in the Forbidden Valley.
The Blade has been operating at the park for 35 years orgininally known as a traditional pirate ship in 1980 up until it's retheme to The Blade in 1996.
