Alton Towers Reopens after Smiler Accident

Alton Towers has today announced that the park will reopen to the public on Monday 8th June.
The park has been shut for the last 5 days due to the accident on The Smiler, and has allowed HSE (Health & Safety Executives) to carry out an investigation as to how the crash happened.
Alton Towers have stated that the X-Sector area of the park - which is home to The Smiler, Oblivion and Enterprise - will remain shut until further notice, the other ride that will not be opening is the Sonic Spinball rollercoaster.
