Alton Towers is going to launch a new ride in 2016, with not much being currently said about the ride. 3 promotional images have today appeared alongside a new video with details of the launch.
London's Science Musuem is going to host the reveal on January 12th at 8:30am. This is when more details of the ride is going to be annouced. Alton Towers have not decided to give anymore information than what is currently out and the 21 second video does not give many clues as to what it could be.
Quotes such as "In space you can't hear yourself" and "we've got something out of this world to share with you" is all they have released.
Rumours say this is to do with a new futurisitic area coming to the resort in the current forbidden valley area. Currently Ripsaw has been removed and dismantled and Air is expecting some sort of revamp, we expect it to all link in and make sense very soon.
Our friends over at Ride Rater have stated in their article that they think virtual realility will play some part in this and the re-development of Air. The new restaurant will have food brought to you on a miniture rollercoaster. (Article found here)
