Merlin Entertainments have brought our a brand new app for smartphones allowing regular visitors to interact with features inside and outside attractions.
Merlin Entertainments have released "My Merlin Guide" to the app store in the past few weeks. The application has a number of features with it highly being advertised to guests with annual passes.
The features on the application include;
Announces Arrival - Check into each attraction and find out the current offers and events going on!
Earn badges as you visit new worlds and experiences, collect them and see who can get the most out of your friends.
"Heart" the events you would like to go to most, save them into your diary so you know how to plan ahead.

The application has great unique features such as badge collecting and competing against friends. This is all done by the annual pass number and connecting it to the application during the sign up. Then, this will eventually track your visits and earn you badges. The application is in early stages and has some bugs so this feature may have a few issues at first but is a great idea!
As mentioned above, the app also tells you current events going on and future events. Giving you a brief description of what is happening and where, in each merlin attraction. You can heart these events to bring them up faster for future purposes.
The application also tells you information on each of the attractions, such as the opening times, attractions and shows that they have currently and the map of each attraction!
