Chessington World of Adventures shared it's future plans and ideas with the community over the past few days, with development in multiple areas such as, possible new family coaster, more family accommodation and sorting out car park and traffic issues in the local area.
Chessington World of Adventure has a number of ideas to restore the park back to it's former glory in a Long Term Development Plan lasting for the next 5-10 years. This plan is still under works with changes expected but they have shared some light on what to expect in future years.
One of the biggest points they mention is a new coaster and redevelopment of existing rides. They hint at a possible water coaster or a wild jungle themed coaster. The coaster will be aimed for their target market which is 5-12 years old and families!
Alongside this, they have plans to sort out the car park conditions and local traffic issues. The resort mentions how the traffic flow could be better and will invest in ways to make the flow better whilst investing in the park.
The park also shares light on how many jobs it offers, permanent and seasonal, the impact tourism has on the park and also how much visitors have an impact on the park.
The other big point they mention is an attraction to link to the Safari hotel. They are looking into a soft play area or a 3d cinema. They plan to use existing buildings for whatever they do decide to build.
