Located in Hampshire, Basingstoke's best trampoline and adventure park has recently opened with a few great surprises inside compared to other trampoline places you may have been before. The brand new state of the art arena has been designed with one thing in mind and that's fun. This includes the first high-tech indoor assault course in the UK, which does not just appeal to the family market, but to fitness enthusiasts and parkour professionals!
Flip Out Basingstoke has a thrilling set of features packed into their location. This includes over 50 trampolines, 28ft ninja slide, lazer maze, foam pits, battle beams, total wipeout, 10 interactive climbing walls, 2 cyber towers, stunt box arenas, basketball and the ninja tag assault.
On our arrival on a Saturday night, we were greeted by a very friendly team. Our session was one of the quietest they had which was lucky for us. We highly recommend visiting during the evening sessions if you prefer a more personal session in the trampoline park. We were booked on and taken to our safety briefing. This included some basic house rules before we ventured into the adventure park.
Like any trampoline park, you have to wear special grip socks in the trampoline park. These can be purchased at the main desk if you don't have any for £2 per pair. Before you enter the arena, you can leave any valuables in lockers which are refundable but require a £1 coin to operate.
In the arena, it's laid out into different sections. Unfortunately, during our visit a number of attractions weren't available. This included the total wipeout section, the 28ft ninja slide and basketball. On top of this, we weren't made aware of the addition of the electronic wristbands which are used to score points going around the special cyber towers and ninja tag assault. This was a shame however we did still enjoy the experience, running around the ninja tag arena without the wristbands & going up the cyber tower, due to how quiet it was.
Our favourite part that was available was the interactive climbing walls It worked for both children and adults with or without the wristband. With the wristband, it allowed you to go for more trickier routes to score more points. If you fell off, you'd land in the foam pit and have to start again.
They have a mixture of trampolines which have different bounce levels which was nice as it gave customers more flexibility on what they can do on each different trampoline. They have over 50 trampolines spaced out in the arena which allows you to interact with all the obstacles they have around such as a Lamborghini in the stunt box arena.
Overall, Flip Out is a great brand of trampoline / adventure park with multiple locations across the UK. The Basingstoke centre which is one of the newest to open in recent months, has some state of the art features which we believe stands out compared to any other brand or company. We'd love to be invited back later this year when all the features are open and to try out the ninja electronic wristband.
