Paultons Park unveils new rides at Peppa Pig World that are fit for a Queen!
Paultons Park which is home to the UK exclusive Peppa Pig World has launched two new rides at the expanded attraction for the first time since opening in 2011. The Queen's Flying Coach Ride and Grampy Rabbit's Sailing Club are open from Wednesday 16th May for all Peppa Pig lovers to enjoy!
During the Grand Preview event on Friday 11th and Saturday 12th May, we were kindly invited along to have an exclusive look at the new expansion. Stephen Lorton who is the commercial director at Paultons Park, said: "Peppa Pig World has continued to grow in popularity since opening in 2011 and the additional two new rides will continue to add to its success for many years to come. Paultons Park significant investment behind the expansion has created increased capacity, a new eatery, as well as the two new rides that offer panoramic views of this popular family destination. Both rides are suitable for young children of all ages accompanied by a parent, providing fun for all the family!"
The Queen's Flying Coach Ride, just one of the new rides at Peppa Pig World, takes families of all ages on an unforgettable tour of the newly expanded attraction in coaches that are transported by monorail. The ride starts from the top of the Queen's castle, another addition and new signature point of the attraction, which offers an impressive bird's-eye view of the park.
We believe this attraction will provide perfect views over the park and especially, the rest of Peppa Pig World. Whilst going around, you get some interaction from on-board audio from Peppa and The Queen, which creates a stunning experience overall.
Grampy Rabbit's Sailing Club allows children and parents to hop aboard boats, where they can cruise along the new water route around the base of the Queen's Castle, and discover Pirate Island. This is a great attraction for all the family which allow you to see more additions to the Peppa Pig World expansion from the ground. The extension has allowed them to add and introduce new characters, sights and scenes through these attractions.
On our visit, we had the pleasure of inviting the Harmsworth family to star in our photos and give us a family perspective of the new rides and overall expansion. They mention how the kids love the new rides, especially The Queen's Flying Coach Ride. The other big draw to the whole area and park was the new characters and the meet and greets with them!
New characters such as Gerald Giraffe, Mr Bull and Peppa friends also join the rest of the characters now in Peppa Pig World! Other interesting points in the area are Mr Bull's digger and bulldozer, which he is using to fix a burst water main. Also, don't miss Peppa jumping in muddy puddles with the Queen!
